Types of baffle ceiling

Baffle width is always 30 mm. H25 and H100 are our two flagship variants, proven in hundreds of projects — everything in between is selected individually for your project. Installed on the same main beam, so variants can be combined in one room.

Sizes & colours

Baffle width is always 30 mm. Height is chosen for the intended effect — the taller the baffle, the deeper the visual rhythm. The gap between baffles is set individually at the quote stage.

Baffle ceiling applications

Baffle ceilings are a popular finish for suspended ceilings in commercial spaces. Parallel metal baffles are mounted horizontally below the slab — they work well in offices, corridors, receptions, restaurants and shopping centres, where both aesthetics and easy access to installations above the ceiling matter. With taller profiles (H75–H100), the effect is more architectural and works well in large, representative spaces: airports, auditoriums, hotels.

Not just ceilings — walls too

The same TWINMAX baffles can also be installed vertically on a wall. Baffles on the wall create a cohesive architectural effect — especially striking when the ceiling and wall are in the same colour or wood-look finish.

How a baffle ceiling is installed

01
Marking out

Use a laser level to mark the ceiling height line on the walls — at least 120 mm from the main slab.

02
Wall angle

Install it around the entire perimeter of the room, along the marked line, using expansion anchors.

03
Hangers

Fix eyelet or hook wires and hangers to the main slab — the closest one no more than 300 mm from the wall.

04
Main beam

Hang it on the hangers along the room — it carries the weight of all the baffles.

05
Baffles

Snap them onto the main beam at the chosen spacing, joining consecutive sections with baffle connectors.

06
End caps

At the ends of the baffles near the walls, install end caps — they close the profile and finish the ceiling edge.

Exact dimensions, technical drawings and a list of the tools needed can be found in the installation manual PDF.

Glossary
Baffle ceilings
Metal baffles mounted in parallel on a main beam — they create a line rhythm instead of a uniform surface.
Profile (H25–H100)
Baffle height in mm. The taller the profile, the deeper the shadow and the more architectural the effect.
Gap between baffles
The gap between consecutive baffles — determines the density of the rhythm and the visibility of installations above the ceiling.
Main beam
A common installation structure for all profiles — allows combining different heights in one room.
Fire reaction class A2
The material's non-combustibility class per PN-EN 13964:2014, confirmed by a CE certificate.
How much does a baffle ceiling cost?
The price depends on the profile, colour and quantity ordered. H25×30 in a standard colour starts from 148 PLN/m² for a complete set. Taller profiles and wood-look finishes are quoted individually.
Where is a baffle ceiling used?
Baffle ceilings are most often mounted horizontally below the slab in offices, corridors, receptions, restaurants and shopping centres, where both aesthetics and easy access to installations above the ceiling matter. With taller profiles (H75–H100), the effect is more architectural and works well in large, representative spaces: airports, auditoriums, hotels. The same baffles can also be mounted vertically on a wall — a cohesive effect when the ceiling and wall share the same colour or wood-look finish.
How long does delivery take?
Production and delivery typically take 2–4 weeks from order, depending on profile, colour and quantity.
Is a baffle ceiling non-combustible?
Yes. Made of galvanised steel strip, fire reaction class A2 per PN-EN 13964:2014. CE certificates available for download above.
What's included in the set?
A complete set: profile baffles, carriers, hangers and fixing elements. We are the manufacturer — we supply the material and carry out installation.
Can I order a custom colour?
Yes, we powder-coat in any RAL colour for orders of at least 100 m².
What's the difference between H25 and H100?
Only the profile height — the construction and main beam are identical, so both variants can be combined in one room. H25 gives a light, subtle line rhythm and is available from stock. H100 gives a deep, architectural effect and works well in large spaces — airports, shopping centres, hotels.
Can I order an intermediate height, e.g. H55?
Yes. Besides the two flagship variants H25 and H100, we can select any height between them (H40, H55, H65, H75, H80) — the baffle width always stays 30 mm. Individual quote, specify the height in the form.
Can a baffle ceiling be installed on a wall?
Yes — the same baffles are mounted horizontally on the ceiling or vertically on the wall. The effect is especially cohesive when the ceiling and wall are in the same colour or wood-look finish.
What is the gap between baffles?
Depends on the spacing chosen in the configurator — typically 20, 70 or 120 mm. A smaller gap gives a denser, tighter line rhythm; a larger one reveals more space above the ceiling.
Do you install the ceiling?
Yes, installation can be ordered together with the material — we'll quote it separately. You can also order just the material and have your own crew or subcontractor install it. We include a layout drawing and installation manual with every order.
What does "clear" spacing mean?
This is the gap measured between the edges of adjacent baffles, not between their centre lines. With a 20 mm clear spacing, the actual gap through which the space above the ceiling is visible is exactly 20 mm — regardless of the baffle's own width.
What's the difference between profiles H40, H55, H65, H75, H80?
Only the height — a difference of 10–15 mm in shadow depth and visual effect strength. The construction, 30 mm width and main beam are identical across all intermediate profiles, so the choice is mainly a matter of taste and room height.
Do I need a designer to order a baffle ceiling?
No. Just specify the area, chosen profile, colour and spacing in the form — we'll prepare the rest, including the baffle layout drawing, for the order.
How do I maintain a baffle ceiling after installation?
Just wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. The powder-coated finish is scratch-resistant and needs no special maintenance.
