Request a free quoteA modular tile ceiling consists of finished tiles resting on a T-grid — a 600×600 mm module. The type determines the infill material: metal, standard mineral fibre, an acoustic or a hygienic variant.
METAL — cassettes made of powder-coated steel, solid or perforated, for Lay-in and Tegular grids. Durability, washability, a rigid form — they don't warp or yellow like a mineral tile. The perforated variant also improves room acoustics. Made to order, quoted together with the specification.
Where to use it: catering, clinics, swimming pools, retail buildings — wherever the ceiling is often washed or disinfected.
MINERAL FIBRE — a classic white standard tile on a Lay-in T24 grid, the simplest and cheapest variant in our range. We keep it in stock in Ożarów Mazowiecki — shipped the next business day, no waiting for production.
Where to use it: offices, corridors, buildings on a limited budget.
ACOUSTIC — denser mineral fibre with increased sound absorption, available on a Lay-in or Tegular grid (stepped edge, stronger visual effect). Reduces reverberation and improves speech intelligibility in larger rooms. Made to order.
Where to use it: open-plan offices, conference rooms, schools — wherever echo is a problem.
HYGIENIC — a mineral tile with a washable coating, resistant to moisture and frequent washing, on a galvanised T24 grid (extra corrosion protection in humid environments). A cheaper alternative to a metal cassette when hygiene matters but the budget is limited. Made to order.
Where to use it: kitchens, clinics and other rooms with higher hygiene requirements, without the cost of metal.

Cross-sections: navy profile, grey tile, red line — the ceiling face.
A straight edge, the tile rests flush on the exposed grid. The cheapest and easiest-to-service variant.

We produce cassettes in two variants — a solid, smooth face and a finely perforated one improving room acoustics.
Certificates
Our metal cassettes have all the required certificates — fire resistance class A2, CE certificate and a data sheet. Available as PDF.

How a modular tile ceiling is installed
A short version for installers — we include a complete step-by-step manual with every delivery.
Use a laser level to mark the line on the walls. Fix the wall angle at max. 450 mm intervals, corners at 45°.
Install using metal expansion anchors, at max. 600 mm intervals. No plastic, no bending.
Hang on hangers, 1200 mm spacing, min. 300 mm from the wall. Keep them parallel.
Cross tees 1200 mm, then 600 mm — a 600×600 mm module. Check the diagonals of each field.
Fixtures, grilles and sensors are installed before laying the infill — hung separately from the slab, not the grid.
Mineral tiles or metal cassettes are laid loosely in the cells, from the centre outwards. Pieces near the walls are cut to size — the edges are hidden by the wall profile.

The construction is always the same: a steel T24 grid suspended on hangers, a 600×600 mm module, with tiles resting in the grid cells. What you fill the grid with is a separate decision — a mineral fibre tile and a metal cassette fit the same profile.
The main advantage: every tile can be lifted by hand. Access to ventilation, air conditioning, wiring and fixtures takes seconds. That's why this solution dominates wherever there are a lot of installations above the ceiling.
Where is a modular tile ceiling used?
Do you sell original Armstrong tiles?
We import specific brand tiles on order, but by default we quote equivalent mineral tiles with the same parameters — usually cheaper with identical acoustic and fire class. Let us know if you care about the brand or the parameters. The price difference can be double.
